Selected extra-low-voltage electronics

Electronic diagnostics & component-level repairs

We troubleshoot suitable electronic equipment and circuit boards, identify likely faults and explain the practical repair options before work proceeds.

What we can investigate

Diagnosis before replacement

We focus on selected extra-low-voltage devices and accessible, repairable electronics. Acceptance depends on the actual model, internal power arrangements, condition and legal scope.

Battery-powered pool cleaners

Suitable cordless robotic cleaners: propulsion, impellers, sensors, switches, connectors and ELV electronics. We do not rebuild battery cell packs.

Computers and laptops

Selected laptop and computer hardware faults, charging connectors, switches and board-level diagnosis where the work can be performed safely within scope.

Arcade and pinball electronics

Suitable standalone ELV boards, displays, control circuits, connectors and switches. Full machines may contain mains or other hazardous circuits and must be assessed individually.

12V/24V devices and controllers

Suitable control boards, electronic instruments, connectors, sensors and small standalone devices.

Clear limitations

What we do not repair

We do not perform repairs to mains-side power supplies, fixed electrical installations, or prescribed pool and spa water-equipment electrical components without the appropriate licence. We do not rebuild high-energy lithium battery packs or undertake other work requiring a separate electrical authorisation.

ELV circuitry in a mains-powered appliance is not automatically outside electrical work licensing. Work is limited to equipment and tasks assessed as lawful and within our competence and insurance scope.

Ask whether your device is suitable

Include the make, model, supply voltage, battery or charger type and a description of the problem. Photos can help us decide whether an assessment is worthwhile.
